If you are traveling to us by green bus which is the local public transport from Corfu Town or by Taxi (we will inform you of the cost and we can also arrange the transfer for you.) Or by your own vehicle :
Taking the main road from Kassiopi look for the signs to Acharavi. Heading North from Acharavi about 5 km there are two signs for Agios Spiridon. So if you miss the first then you can use the second one. Careful though these signs are small and the road is quite busy and the traffic a little faster than other roads. The turning is on the left (the coastal side of the road). Follow this much smaller road which is nearly a single track but is tarmac. This road leads to the two beaches of Spiridon, here there is a supermarket and a taverna, turn right and follow this road past a swimming pool on your left the road then bends to the right 50 meters later is our villa on your right. There is private parking for you.
The Island of Corfu can be reached by:
Air from Athens [see available flights from the Athens Airport Flights database] (daily service from Athens airport and more than six flights a day during peak periods) or Europe. Ships go from Patras (132 nautical miles), Igoumenitsa (18 nautical miles) or Sagiada as well as from Italy (Bari, Brindizi, Ancona, Otranto) and the former Yugoslavia (Bar, Dubrovnik, Split). By road you can go from Athens or Thessaloniki by way of Igoumenitsa.
Igoumounitsa is about an hour away from Corfu town, which is the main port. The ferries run every hour to and from Igoumounitsa which is on the main land of Greece. Other routes are from Brindisi, Bari, Ancona, Trieste or Venice in Italy. Travel times are :- Brindisi – 9 hours, Ancona – 16 hours and Venice around 25 hours. You have a varied choice of ferry lines, all of which compete against each other for business. Most of the ferries are of a reasonable quality and there a few new ones. To travel by deck as a foot passenger then tickets are available at all of the ports, but shop around before you buy as you can sometimes get a good deal. Traveling by car it is best to book in advance most of the ferry companies do have a web site so booking on line is pretty easy. If you are towing a caravan then read the small print, there are extras ! Also if you want a cabin the same applies – book in advance; But if you adventuress and walk on as a foot passenger you can get a cabin at a much reduced price if the boat is a little empty.
